Korean Liberation Day – August 15

On August 15, we commemorate Korea’s Liberation Day,

known as Gwangbokjeol (광복절).

This meaningful day marks Korea’s liberation in 1945 and honors the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of those who worked for Korea’s independence.

As we celebrate the 81st anniversary of Korea’s liberation, we remember their sacrifices with gratitude and carry forward the spirit of freedom and hope for future generations.
