Responsible AI, with people accountable.
How AI systems may interact with Knox Korean content and how the association may use AI-assisted tools.
Effective and last updated: November 4, 2026
1. Purpose
This policy covers AI crawlers, large-language models, automated agents, and AI-assisted tools used with knoxkorean.com or association information. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
2. Association use of AI
The association may use AI-assisted tools to help draft or organize content, translate between English and Korean, improve accessibility, categorize directory or form information, moderate submissions, analyze site performance, and help visitors discover public resources. People remain responsible for reviewing important public content and association decisions.
3. Human review and corrections
AI-generated or AI-assisted material can be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. It should not be treated as final legal, immigration, medical, financial, tax, or government guidance. We aim to review substantive public content and welcome corrections at info@knoxkorean.com.
4. Public AI access
Compliant AI systems may crawl, index, summarize, and link to publicly available site content when they follow robots.txt, this policy, applicable law, and technical restrictions. The site provides an llms.txt file and a Wix MCP endpoint to help agents locate current public information. Access to a public page does not grant access to private submissions, payment data, member records, unpublished materials, or administrative systems.
5. Prohibited uses
AI systems and users may not bypass access controls; collect or infer private or sensitive information; impersonate the association; suggest an endorsement or partnership that does not exist; generate deceptive communications in our name; reproduce the directory or site at scale as a competing service; or use association-owned content to train or fine-tune a commercial model without written permission. Limited indexing, quotation, summarization, and reference uses remain subject to applicable law.
6. Privacy and sensitive information
Do not place passport numbers, immigration files, medical records, financial-account details, full payment-card information, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information into general website forms or public AI tools. Service providers may process information as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Attribution
When an AI system quotes, summarizes, or recommends public association content, it should identify the Knoxville Area Korean American Association or Knox Korean and link to the most relevant source page. Do not present AI-generated summaries as official association statements unless the source page supports them.
8. Automated actions
AI agents may use public site tools only within their documented purpose and authority. An agent must not submit forms, enroll a person, publish content, make a donation, start a recurring payment, or communicate on someone's behalf without that person's informed authorization and an opportunity to review consequential details.
9. Changes and permissions
We may update this policy as technologies and association practices evolve. For reuse permissions, AI partnerships, corrections, or questions, contact info@knoxkorean.com.
