Calling an immigration office for the first time
You can use the first call to decide whether an appointment is a good fit. Start with the type of help you are looking for and the language you prefer.
Three questions to ask
“Do you handle this type of matter?” “What does the first appointment cost, and what does it cover?” “Can you arrange a Korean interpreter, and is there a fee?” Ask for the answers before booking or traveling.
Plan how to share documents
Ask the office what it needs for the appointment and how to send it securely. If a notice shows a date, mention the date to the office when asking for an appointment. Keep your originals. The association’s newsletter signup only needs an email address.
